The serpentine sliding top with three shaped panels decorated with sprays of flowers and framed by scrolls, with a hinged slide lined to one side with gilt-tooled leather and with a mirror to the reverse, above a frieze decorated with flower-filled shaped panels, fitted with a deep drawer to the right, on cabriole legs mounted with pierced mounts and terminating in foliate sabots, stamped eight times 'B. BUTTE', with a label numbered '25 10', the border around the top probably replaced at the time the top was relaid
