The eared rectangular black fossil marble top above three panelled frieze drawers and two long panelled drawers between fluted corner columns headed by ribbed panels, on turned tapering legs and toupie feet, the underside inscribed in ink 'Commo No. 17' and further indistinguishable inscriptions, one in chalk, the underside of the marble top inscribed 'S', the metalwork partially replaced
