QIANLONG CAST FOUR-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)

The body with deep, rounded sides, enamelled with pendant blade panels containing taotie masks, all between key and wan-fret borders, the rim outlined with a gilt border and surmounted by two gilt handles imitating rope twists, all supported on gilt tripod feet with taotie masks and scrolls, the cover similarly decorated and topped with a gilt dragon finial
