The panel depicts a pantheon of Daoist immortals and deities arriving at a gathering located at a picturesque lakeside palace landscaped with rockwork, pine and peach trees, with Xiwangmu riding her crane and Magu seated on her tree-trunk raft, approaching the immortals crossing the bridge towards a balustraded terrace where others are gathered, including Shoulao and Liu Hai at the entrance, all finely woven with details picked out in pigment
