The case with swan neck pediment and ebony-banded trunk, with moulded urn-shaped cistern cover flanked by ebony inlaid canted angles, brass-capped concealed tube, the silvered plate signed Cary LONDON and with Vernier scale 39 in. (9.5 cm.) high
