of trunk style, the interior with green plush-lined lid (faded/stained) and with compartments to house nine bottles of differing sizes with ground stoppers and a white-metal funnel, the removable right-handside of the chest revealing a secret drawer with ivory knob containing three paper parcels one with label for DR. JAMES'S FEVER POWDERS, the case with boxwood stringing and brass handle on the lid, bone diamond escutcheon and key -- 17.5 x 19.8 x 17.2cm. (6 7/8 x 7¾ x 6¾in.)
