Circular and on a spreading lobed foot, the cover of grill form with a demi-kangaroo finial, engraved with a presentation inscription and a coat-of-arms, marked on side, on cover and on finial, the base further engraved 'Stokes & Sons Melb. Australia'
8½ in. (21.5 cm.) diameter
The inscription reads 'Presented to Her Royal Highness, Princess Margaret And Mr. Antony Armstrong-Jones by the Government & People of Victoria on the Occasion of Their Marriage May 6th 1960.'

The arms are those of the State of Victoria, Australia.

Given on the occasion of the marriage of H.R.H. The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon (1930-2002), to Antony Charles Robert Armstrong-Jones, Earl Snowdon (b.1930) on 6 May 1960, by H.E. General Sir Dallas Brooks, K.C.B., K.C.M.G., K.C.V.O., and D.S.O., Governor of the State of Victoria on behalf of the Government and People of the State of Victoria, Australia.
