The case with brass handle to brass-lined triple pad top, silk-backed brass fishscale sound frets to the sides and conforming frets to the brass-lined front door, raised on brass bracket feet, the white painted Roman convex dial with blued steel spade hands and signed PERIGAL/LONDON, the eight day movement with shouldered and unusually arched plates joined by five pillars, twin gut fusees with anchor escapement and strike on bell, the back plate with engraved border and strike/not strike lever, pendulum holdfast and repeat signature -- 13½ in.
