The five rectangular-shaped diamond panels with a central diamond collet and baguette-cut diamond detail alternating with five similarly shaped circular-cut diamond panels to the diamond half-moon links, made in 1936, 17.5 cm long, with French assay mark for platinum and gold

Lot Essay

Bracelets were very much en vogue during the Art Deco era. Several of them were worn next to each other, not necessarily of the same design. This example, with its rounded links, is very typical of the 1930s when the strict geometry of the 1920s had given way to a more feminine form.
