A GERMAN ENGRAVED SILVER PRIMING-FLASK IN EARLY 17TH CENTURY STYLE
19th Century
Made entirely of silver, with cartouche-shaped body engraved with scrolling foliage and flowers over the sides, the outer-face involving trophies and the figure of Acteon in neo-Mannerist style, and the nozzle struck with two marks, 'P' and 'AK'.
