A GERMAN ENGRAVED COWHORN POWDER-FLASK
Dated 1799
Of flattened triangular form, one face decorated with a tiered arrangement of male and female steinbock in pairs between oversized flowers, the reverse face decorated with an heraldic double-eagle within a stylised collar, lion supporters below and a leaping stag above, turned nozzle, and the base engraved with the date divided by the initials 'P' and 'ST' (nozzle cap associated)
