Mark of Petrus Lentz, Utrecht, 1897, retailed by Begeer, Utrecht
Square, the body and cover chased to simulate wickerwork, with overhead swing twisted wire handle, the detachable flat cover with a finial cast as a putto, holding a cut-glass vase, the base similarly decorated and with a fruiting grapevine rim, with a clear glass liner, engraved underneath with a name, marked underneath stand, on top of stand, underneath body and on cover and further stamped 'BEGEER UTRECHT'
