A George III ebonised fruitwood striking table clock, early 19th Century
With brass handle to breakarch case, brass fishscale sound frets to the sides, on brass bracket feet, the brass dial with foliate spandrels to silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, signed Thos. Earnshaw/London above date aperture, pierced and blued steel hands, with strike/silent ring in the arch, the eight day movement with rectangular plates joined by five pillars, anchor escapement and strike/trip repeat on bell, with repeat signature to back plate -- 15½ in. (39.5 cm.) high, handle down; pendulum, door key
