EARLY 19TH CENTURY
Each with curved tablet toprail with incised pattern above a caned back and horizontal baluster, the outcurved arms ending in fluted patera terminals abova a caned seat with button squab covered in yellow material with palm-carved naturalistic front legs and arm-supports headed by scrolls and terimating in paw feet, the underside of the rails with nailing possibly from a dustcover, redecorated with traces of an earlier layer of decoration (2)
