QIANLONG IRON-RED SIX-CHARACTER SEALMARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
Modelled in the form of a paired musical chimes, finely enamelled in pink, iron-red, yellow, blue and green within gilt outlines on a turquoise-ground in imitation of cloisonne enamel, the cover of conforming shape, decorated with a central flowerhead surrounded by foliate scrolls and bordered by stylised key-pattern bands, the straight sides decorated with lotus scrolls entwined with bats, the interior and base enamelled with turquoise
