Crisply carved to the interior in relief with a peony branch, bearing three blossoms at various stages of bloom, the rounded sides to the exterior with a scroll of exotic flowers interrupted by pierced chrysanthemum-sprig handles in Mughal-style, the base further embellished in low relief with a large peony flower head framed by the four bracket-shaped feet, the semi-translucent stone of even tone with a russet inclusion beside one handle
