The case of tabernacle form surmounted by a gadrooned red glass finial, above a copper and brass revolving moon with a brass age of moon disc below, the serpentine shaped cresting with repoussé silver mounts of amorini and foliage, a central silver cartouche showing a classical female with military and scholastic trophies, the four spiral-twisted glass columns with Corinthian capitals, the silver Roman and Arabic dial with foliate repoussé centre, associated pierced and engraved ormolu hands, the moulded stepped and canted plinth with a central drawer and on bracket feet; associated French eight day twin barrels movement
