Decorated at Augsburg, probably by Anna Elisabeth Wald, the saucers with figures of Orientals among shrubs, rockwork and terracing, within gilt shaped quatrefoil cartouches issuing iron-red scrolls from small panels painted to simulate Böttger lustre within a richly gilt ground, the teabowls with similar cartouches, the reverses with exotic birds, the interiors, rims and footrims richly gilt (some very minor areas of wear to gilding) (2)
