A French brass and porcelain-mounted striking eight day carriage clock

The stepped and fluted cannelee-style case with large bevelled glass to the top, the side panels decorated in Battersea blue and brown and with flowers within wheatear borders, the conforming dial with Arabic chapter ring and blued steel hands, the twin barrels movement with gilt platform to bimetallic lever balance, strike/repeat on gong, the back plate stamped PATENT SURETY ROLLER and numbered 1813
