A CONTINENTAL PORCELAIN MATT-BLUE GROUND CABINET CUP AND SAUCER
CIRCA 1830, PROBABLY PARIS, INDISTINCT GILT INSCRIPTION TO SAUCER
The cup of flared cylindrical form with a gilt loop and scroll handle with an anthemion terminal, painted with a half-length portrait of Königin Pauline von Württemberg, in a bonnet, within a gilt surround flanked by a panel of trailing ivy, the saucer with a band of similar trailing ivy between gilt line borders, the interior of the cup with a broad gilt band (minute wear to gilding)
