CENTRAL IRAN, CIRCA 1200
Of rounded form on short vertical foot, the white interior painted in a number of coloured enamels with a central roundel of lozenges within a chequered panel surrounded by kneeling figures alternating with dotted motifs, the rim with a band of green and red decorative motifs within blue outlines, the exterior with a loose black inscription possibly a repetition of the word "al-'izz" (glory), repaired breaks and areas of restoration
