Comprising the 11th juz', Arabic manuscript on buff paper, 26ff. plus 4 fly-leaves, each folio with 7ll. of elegant black naskh, gold and polychrome roundels marking the end of each verse, sura headings in gold within cartouches in panels of gold and polychrome illumination, text panels within gold and polychrome rules, marginal medallions in gold and polychrome, the word Allah picked out in gold throughout, opening bifolio with gold and polychrome illumination, and the text in lines of alternating black and gold in cloud bands reserved against similarly illuminated ground, in brown morocco with large panel of stamped and tooled gilded decoration, the doublures decorated with gilded decoupé arabesque spandrels and central medallion over blue, green and yellow panels, minor water staining and worm holing
