Each painted with a specimen bird in a landscape within a gilt ciselé cartouche, the birds named on the undersides in black script, the cup with a Manaquin a Gorge Rouge, the saucer with L'outarde, against scale-pattern grounds outlined in puce and enriched in bleu celéste within gilt dentil rims (scratching to enamels of bird on cup, slight wear and scratching to enamels on well of saucer, some wear to gilt cartouche of saucer and gilt dentil rims, some scratching to black titles)
