With sighted barrel with traces of a spurious London signature stamped in irregular letters on the sighting flat, signed bevelled lock, moulded walnut stock (the fore-end and ramrod-pipes replaced), plain brass mounts cast in low relief, and brass escutcheon inscribed with armoury markings (the steel parts with patches of pitting).
