Portrait of Eleonore Freifrau von Keyserlingh (1709-1758) playing the lute in a landscape garden

The original, executed circa 1745, is in Schloss Charlottenburg, Berlin (H.Börsch-Supan, Der Maler Antoine Pesne: Franzose und Preusse, 1986, p.121, plate 86). The sitter was married to Dietrich Freiherr von Keyserlingh, who was a close friend of King Frederick the Great of Prussia.
