The rectangular oval section case of hammered design, the hinged cover with applied, old brilliant and rose-cut diamond and gem Imperial crowned cipher with the initial 'W' for Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany, the thumbpiece set with a cabochon sapphire, with vesta compartment and tinder cord in Imperial coloured silks, in maker's stamped fitted case, signed on the interior JOH. WAGNER & SOHN., 585
