LATE GEOMETRIC PERIOD, CIRCA 750-720 B.C.
The globular body on a flat base, with a tall cylindrical neck, trefoil mouth and double-reeded handle, decorated in dark brown slip with thin concentric bands around the body and neck, a panel on the neck with a horse in profile to the right, standing with its head lowered, its mane a series of short lines, M-shaped elements between the legs
