A CONTINENTAL GOLD-MOUNTED HORN AND HARDSTONE HAND-SEAL
MID-19TH CENTURY
Tapering horn seal of globular form, the spreading cast sablé gold base gadrooned, the bloodstone matrix engraved with a coat-of-arms
2½ in. (64 mm.) high
The arms are those of Mercy-Argenteau.
