Meiji period (late 19th century), sealed Kan
Of pear shape on three cylindrical stump feet, flanked on both sides with two upright u-shaped handles, worked in gold and silver nunomezogan and hirazogan with large shaped panels on the front and back with huts, large pines, and another of peonies and small bird, also with intermittent floral roundels and nineteen-petal gilt chrysanthemum crests on each foot, the domed cover with shaped panels containing similar exterior scenes and surmounted by a gilt finial, the rims with gilt fretwork and geometic pattern; sealed on base
