Arabic manuscript on paper, 152ff. plus 1 fly-leaf, each folio with 26ll. of neat black naskh arranged into circles within gold and black outlined text panels, the spandrels around the circles with gold, blue, yellow and pink floral illumination on pink or yellow ground, gold and polychrome verse markers, catchwords, sura headings in white naskh on gold panels, opening bifolio with gold and polychrome illumination surrounding smaller circles containing 14ll. of smaller black naskh, colophon giving two dates, AH 1255 and AH 1258, final folio with a later miniature of a tulip, final bifolio with gold marginal illumination, in brown morocco with flap and gold stamped medallions and spandrels, paper doublures
