A BRISLINGTON DELFT ROYAL PORTRAIT FLUTED DEEP-DISH OF CHARLES II
CIRCA 1685
Painted in shades of blue and yellow with a portrait of the King, half-length, crowned and wearing his coronation robes, flanked by the initials C2R above lozenges, within a double circle cartouche, the border painted with trailing foliage within a lobed rim (minor damages and restoration)
11 5/8 in. (29.5 cm.) diam.
