the case with swan-neck pediment, satinwood line inlay, cross- and chequer-banding, on outswept bracket feet, the painted dial with gilt-heightened bats' wing spandrels against blue reserves, with scene of a domestic interior to the arch, signed Jn McNiesh Falkirk, with calendar and seconds rings, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement -- 90½in.(230cm.) high
