Composition and brass bound, with metal handles to either end, with wooden laths to the top and double brass latches either side of a central lock, with 'F.G. MICHEL' painted on the top and the monogram 'F.G.M 7' to each end, painted with black and white stripes, the interior lined in apple green linen, with ivory ribbon strapping to the lid and with two removable trays and divided base
