QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The long incense container is carved around the sides to depict three monks, the bottom one reading a parchment with a walking stick, the middle one carrying an alms bowl, the top one pressing his palms together, along a mountain path under the shades of tall gnarled pine trees.
