With browned twist barrels signed in full on the rib and each rifled with two grooves for a belted ball, bead fore-sight, rear-sight of one standing and two folding leaves graduated to 200 yards and each with platinum-inlaid centre-line, case-hardened patent breeches each engraved with roped borders and with a pierced platinum-plug, a tiger-mask engraved on the rib between, border, scroll and game scene engraved tang and signed bolted locks, the former decorated with a stag and the latter respectively with a recumbent stag and a running tiger, figured walnut half-stock with chequered grip and fore-end, raised cheek-piece, mounts engraved en suite including blued pistol-grip trigger-guard decorated with a running stag on the bow, silver escutcheon, and much original finish throughout, case-hardening faded, London proof marks, in original brass-cornered mahogany fitted case lined in tooled leather with some accessories including iron 'WD' pincer-type bullet mould for belted-ball marked 'IMPROVED NO.16', case-hardened mainspring clamp, and Sykes brass-mounted planished tin rifle-flask, the lid with Thomas Jackson trade label, the exterior with circular brass escutcheon and flush-fitting brass carrying-handle
