Arabic manuscript on paper, 259ff. plus two fly-leaves, each folio with 18ll. of black naskh script divided by gold lines, with gold roundel verse markers, sura headings in red thuluth script within gold cartouches, text within red, black and gold rules, marginal section markers in red thuluth script within illuminated medallions, some added marginal notes, opening bifolio heavily illuminated in gold and polychrome, with catchwords, fly-leaves with Ottoman seal impression with date of 1305 (?), the binding's covers from an early 16th or 17th century Safavid gilt and stamped binding
