Arabic manuscript on paper, 318ff. plus three fly-leaves, each folio with 15ll. of small black naskh script, with gold and polychrome roundel verse markers, sura headings marked with polychrome illuminated cartouches on gold ground, some identified in sepia thuluth script, text in red and black-ruled gold frame, with marginal gold and polychrome illuminated floral medallions, hizb markers in naskh script, the margins with reading marks in black naskh script, with catchwords, opening bifolio heavily illuminated in gold and polychrome with text panels with 7ll. of script, colophon signed and dated, with gilt red paper doublures, in original gilt and stamped brown morocco binding with flap with floral decoration, minor rubbing, good condition overall, in associated red morocco slip-case
