Arabic manuscript on paper, the ijaza arranged with a large panel of black thuluth script at top, a panel of three lines of naskh script below, each line in clouds between gold ground, bordered with four illuminated panels, each with a signature of one of the scribe's teachers (from right to left) Na'man al-Khulusi a student of Al-Hajj al-Qara Muhammad Pir al-Nazifi Efendi, Labud (?) Zadah Muhammad al-Hafiz a student of Hasan al-Rushdi, Hafiz Muhammad Wahbi a student of Abu Ibrahim Adham Efendi, Alay (?) Zadah 'Uthman al-Hafiz a student of a student of Hafiz al-Qara Husayn Efendi al-Hajj Husayn al-Sabri Efendi and Hafiz Husayn al-Ramzi, laid down between gold illuminated borders with gilt margins, in good condition, mounted and glazed
