TWO CARVED AND INCISED BAMBOO WRIST RESTS
19TH CENTURY
The first is incised with the story of Suwu mu yang depicting Su wu holding a staff gazing upwards towards a skein of birds and flanked by two goats, the reverse with another version of Su wu, inscribed and signed Xiao Chen; the second is carved in low relief with lines of calligraphy, inscribed and with the seal mark of xi shang.
