Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvery rose dial and raised gold indexes in 1944 and its subsequent sale on 29 August 1945. The extract further states that the watch was born with an 18K pink gold and stainless steel bracelet, lost over time.

To the best of knowledge, the present watch is one of only three reference 1503/1 known to have appeared in public to date.
