With blued octagonal sighted barrel, cylinder and frame, the last with border and scroll engraving, bright hammer, trigger, thumb-screw and rammer, the first with sprung Bentley patent safety-catch, and chequered walnut grips, retaining nearly all its original blued finish throughout, Birmingham proof marks, in fitted oak case lined in dark blue baize with accessories including a good Dixon revolver flask and brass double-cavity 'WD' bullet/ball mould, the lid with reproduction Samuel Ebrall trade label, the exterior with brass shield-shaped escutcheon
