With later two-stage barrel (blocked) signed 'LAZARINO COMINAZO' on the fluted breech-section, the forward section round rising to a medial sighting ridge and cut with chevrons, rounded lock engraved beneath the pan with two entwined serpents framing the signature 'CARLO ANTONIO' and chiselled on the tail with a further pair of entwined serpents and foliage, the cock and steel engraved en suite (the latter a recent expert replacement), figured walnut full stock (fore-end an expert replacement), steel mounts profusely chiselled in low relief with dense flowering foliage inhabited by serpents and monsters (trigger-guard, muzzle-band and ramrod-pipes expert replacements), the stock inset with steel panels chiselled en suite with the mounts, and later wooden ramrod with pierced steel tip
