IMPERIAL, ATTRIBUTED TO YANGZHOU, QIANLONG FOUR-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN IRON RED AND LATE IN THE PERIOD, 1767-1799
The opaque white glass body is finely enameled with a continuous scene depicting a woman seated on a horse being led by an attendant while another holding a large banner follows behind. The scene is set within a landscape with a crenulated wall in the distance.
2 7/16 in. (6.8 cm.), quartz stopper, plastic collar
Provenance
Acquired in Hawaii prior to 1920, and thence by descent within the family.
