Of typical elongated form, the polychrome painted decoration depicting courtly life, the top with a central cartouche depicting two noble youths visiting a mullah, flanked by two other cartouches with mother and child scenes, the sides with a lion hunt and a scene with Shirin bathing and Khusraw on his horse with his hunting retinue in a forested landscape, the base with an elegant gilt floral scroll on red ground, with associated scribe's instruments, with added signature of 'Sadeq' and date of AH 1125/1713-14 AD
