The text in the central square is the name of Allah, repeated four times, and invocations to the Prophet around. The inscription at top is from a Hadith of the Prophet.

Hafiz Ibrahim was the son of the celebrated Lucknow calligrapher Nur Allah. He worked at the court of Sa'dat 'Ali Khan, Nawab of Oudh from 1798 to 1814.
