Each chair is carved with ruyi motifs at the centre of the toprails above an S-shaped central splat with archaistic designs, flanked by outswept arms and uprights joined to the panelled seat. Each side has an apron with ruyi designs, all above straight upright legs joined by stretchers and a foot-rest with aprons; some repairs.
