Tasting note re JCA & C 1845: Refined sweet nose of dried peaches, pepper and straw. Showing typical Sercial concentration without the usual high toned character. Intriguing aromas. Quite sweet taste start for a Sercial, tangy acidity packed in more luscious mouth feel. The tight acidity lingering on the finish reveals the Sercial character but in all a sweeter more seductively styled Madeira. Very good. Tasted August 2016. EV.
