Migueis, Terrantez 1899
Bottled from old demi-john in 2018. New wax capsule with GD Madeira seal. New stencilling 'T'
Levels into neck

The Migueis family were the last residents of Quinta das Cruzes before it was acquired by the government of Madeira, who turned it into a museum. Today, it is the largest museum in Madeira.
This wine came from the family stock, bottled from demi-john in 2018.

High-toned nose of straw, bananas, tobacco and leather aromas. Quite expressive and fine, richly perfumed. Focused, soft and gentle mouthfeel, quite creamy and medium sweet then giving way to more impressive acidity that lingers on for minutes. Wine of character and nice length. On the finish, clear old furniture aromas. A refined style of Terrantez. Hidden power. Very good.
