the case with handle to foliate pierced brass basket top and pineapple finials to the angles, with frets to the sides pierced with flowers and bouquets below handles, flowerhead cast panels to the front door and conforming decoration to the feet, the dial with foliate spandrels to the silvered chapter ring with matted centre, with silvered plaque signed TIEDEMANN & BYRNE, subsidiary rings in the arch for chime/silent and Eight bells/Cambridge bells, the triple chain fusee movement with anchor escapement, hour strike on gong and quarter chimes on eight bells, pendulum holdfast to the backplate -- 24in. (61cm.) high; and the brass-mounted wall bracket en suite -- 14¾in. (37.5cm.) high
