A barrel shaped tripod koro and cover with karako finial and scrollwork feet, painted andr gilt with shaped panels of rakan and scholars before waterfalls and buildings in mountainous landscapes, all on a ground of entwined flowers and leaves within bands of moulded flowerheads, the karako seated wearing a tunic and hat and holding a stick in each hand -- 12¾in. (32.5cm.) high, (one stick broken from karako, minor gilt rubbing.)
